About Us
Guru Scrub Source all started with our founder, Denisia Parisienne. Working as a nurse for more than 19 years, Denisia came to intimately understand what makes for a good scrub- and what does not! This was the inspiration for her to begin designing medical scrubs and accessories for nurses, health care professionals, or anyone else who wears scrubs to work.
Denisia designs all scrubs from scratch to meet the practical needs of today’s nurse and bring outdated medical wear into the 2020s. Since she often works 16-18 hours a day, 7 days a week dressed in these scrubs, she has a lot of knowledge to contribute to the design process. All designs are carefully modified and improved over time to deliver the best and most comfortable fit for our customers.
Guru Scrub Source provides clothing that’s not institutional in nature- it’s personal. There’s a focus on creating scrubs that allow you to be relaxed, to not feel like your outfit is constraining you in any way. Each product line is named after medical jargon from those in the know. It’s our little way of assuring you that we are proud to be part of and support the nursing community. These are scrubs that are meant especially for you and your lifestyle.

There are a lot of scrubs out there that are just too pricy. We know firsthand how irritating this can be, so we’ve made the price as affordable as possible for the level of quality we’re providing. All our clothing is designed by and for real nurses, and one of our key values is supporting the healthcare community. For every item sold by Guru Scrub Source, we donate to the American Diabetes Association. Despite the common nature of this disease, education about it is usually insufficient and inaccessible. We want to do what we can to help improve the lives of those living with diabetes, and the healthcare professionals that help care for them.
